The DS 36 was created in the Netherlands at the end of the Bauhaus era, around 1930. Unfortunately the designer is unknown. The DE STIJ DS 36 bedside lamp, with its formal, very fair and balanced composition, can certainly be perceived as a Bauhaus reference lamp, also because its shape immediately brings to mind the official Bauhaus logo. In any case, the lamp creates pleasant indirect light with its white painted reflector. In addition to the harmony of shapes and proportions, the exclusive workmanship of the metal frame ensures a coherent overall appearance.
