Tecnolumen - ceiling light DMB 26 / 250M polished brass
Quantity:

This ceiling light with an opal glass ball was designed by Marianne Brandt in the Dessau metal workshop. Even back then, the simple, timelessly beautiful Bauhaus model was so successful that it was mass-produced. Simple and unobtrusive, in keeping with the Bauhaus style: The elegant DMB 26 ceiling light impresses with its timeless presence, which it radiates in modern and classically furnished environments.

The DMB light for the ceiling has already been created in 1926 from the creative pen of the painter, sculptor, photographer and designer Marianne Brandt - one of the most famous Bauhaus artists - whose designs are now part of the collection of the “Museum of Modern Art” in New York or the “British Museum” in London.

The opal glass ball of the DMB 26, which appears to float in space, diffusely diffuses the light from the lamp outwards and hangs on three 14 cm short, filigree rods, which in turn are in the circular ceiling canopy open up. The glass ball is available in different sizes. While the glass has an opal overlay, the poles and canopy are made of metal with different surface finishes.
