Mawa - floor lamp SSYMMANK multicolored
The organically playful “ssymmank” (formerly “Integra”) caused a stir at the end of the 1950s. The colorful, bobbing lamp head was offensive to many critics and did not fit with the views of pure functional design at the time. It was Walter Gropius who recommended the "ssymmank" for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in 1981, because its innovative performance is hidden in the Interior: heat-resistant polycarbonate and the interchangeable petals represent the enthusiasm for technology and variety of shapes at that time.
