Ausgelassen, selbst wenn sie ausgeschaltet ist, bietet die Fülle des Lichts, das von der Discocó-Lampe ausgestrahlt wird, direkte nach unten gerichtete Beleuchtung sowie ein dramatisches Spiel aus Lichtern und weichen Schatten.

Die detaillierte Untersuchung von einfallendem Licht und Licht, das von beiden Seiten der 35 Scheiben abprallt, verleiht der Lampe eine ansprechende Abstufung von Lichtnuancen und Tiefe. Weitere Reflexionen tanzen von der verchromten Kugel im Kern ab, an der die Scheiben verankert sind.
