The AJ EKLIPTA by Louis Poulsen. Arne Jacobsen designed this lamp for the town hall in Rødovre in 1959. Two sizes were used in staircases and outdoor areas, 350 and 450 mm. A 220 mm version followed later. The lamp is 100% glare-free and distributes the light diffusely through the glass shade. A clear glass edge and the distance to the mounting surface delimit the lamp and create a decorative effect. Surface: Diffuser: hand-blown opal glass, white. Wall box: die-cast aluminum or drawn aluminum.
