The PH 4½-3½ table lamp by Louis Poulsen with glass shades provides a soft light. As with all luminaires in the PH 4½ family, it is reflected by several shades and emitted into the room without glare. The shape of the shades is based on a logarithmic spiral, at the focal point of which the lamp is placed. Surface: opal glass, white. High-gloss chrome-plated shades: mouth-blown opal glass, white. Lamp base: drawn brass, high-gloss chrome-plated. End plate: drawn brass, high-gloss chrome-plated. Standpipe: Steel, high-gloss chrome-plated. Anti-dazzle ring: Purple, drawn aluminum
