The Toldbod 220 pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen. The Toldbod lights were designed based on the PH elliptical reflector and emerged from Poul Henningsen's attempt to design street lighting. The Toldbod's original elliptical reflector was designed for a 100W incandescent lamp. However, over time the lights have changed a lot since Poul Henningsen's first attempt. Materials and surface treatments have been significantly developed and the design is very reserved, meaning that the lamp fits easily into any architectural environment. The Toldbod 220 pendant lamp provides a soft, even light that is predominantly directed downwards. The three-layer glass shades create a uniformly illuminated surface. Material: Shade: mouth-blown opal glass, white. Suspension: stainless steel, matt.
