The PH 3/2 pendant light with a chrome-plated base by Louis Poulsen. PH stands for Poul Henningsen, who designed this lamp in 1925. The PH 3/2 pendant light (1926) is based on the principle of a reflective multiple shade system with harmonious and glare-free lighting. The shape of the shades is based on a logarithmic spiral, at the focal point of which the lamp is placed. The shade sizes correspond to the ratio 3:2:1 - each shade of the PH pendant light reduces the amount of light, enabling glare-free lighting that is largely directed downwards.
