The Doo-Wop pendant light in white by Louis Poulsen. The lamp was developed in the 1950s in close collaboration between Louis Poulsen and the Danish Navy's building management. The lamp throws most of its light downwards. The outer reflector throws the light up and down. This is possible through an opening in the smaller inner screen. This results in lighting that is both diffuse and directed. Shade: Drawn aluminum or drawn brass. Suspension: Drawn aluminum. Connecting rods: steel.
