Table lamp with diffused light. Diffuser made of shiny hand-blown five-layer glass (Incamiciato technique). A “straw yellow” glass layer inside makes the light warmer and the color more intense. The light, which is kept in warm white on the outside, glows ivory when switched on and remains white when switched off. The base consists of a completely transparent PMMA cylinder, custom milled and hand mirror polished. The base has a transparent anti-static protective film. The glass is attached to the base with a cup-shaped clamp, the on/off switch is located on the transparent electrical cable that emerges from a slanted incision. The base is packed in a customized bag made of non-scratch material that can be used to clean the base. Since the glass has a large opening, the light source is easy to see and therefore also fulfills an aesthetic function.
